ISLAMABAD - ZTBL President Zaka Ashraf has said that the bank is committed to play more effective role in Sindh province through timely provision of agricultural inputs and development loans by expanding its outreach. He said this in a meeting with groups of small farmers hailing from Sindh province here. He said that he during his recent visit Sindh had assured the farmers that the bank was specially focusing on the agriculture development sector of the province and was keen to increase the incomes of small farmers through productivity enhancement. In order to facilitate the farmers and to monitor the Banks credit operations, I am myself visiting the rural areas of Sindh and interacting with farmers to get the first-hand knowledge of the prevailing situation, said Zaka Ashraf. Advising the zonal chiefs, the President ZTBL said that any leniency or slackness in credit disbursement operations will not be tolerated.
