LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Punjab Cabinet have paid glowing tributes to Inspector General of Police Punjab Tariq Saleem Dogar on his excellent services. The chief minister during a meeting of provincial cabinet at Chief Ministers Secretariat on Wednesday said IG was a hardworking, honest and best professional police officer and the invaluable services rendered by him for curbing the crimes and maintaining law and order in the province could not be forgotten. Senior Advisor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa, Senior Minister Raja Riaz Ahmed, Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan and other members of the Cabinet appreciated the services of Inspector General Police. They said Tariq Saleem Dogar would always be remembered as a good force commander. IGP Tariq Saleem Dogar said on this occasion that he was very much thankful to chief minister and the members of the cabinet and the words expressed by them were not less than an honour for him. It may be mentioned that Inspector General Police is being retired at the end of the current month after superannuation.
