Rind sees conspiracy against Bhootani

QUETTA – Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, an opposition member in the Balochistan Assembly, held on Saturday that the conspiracy of removing Speaker Muhammad Aslam Bhootani would be unsuccessful.
The chief of the Rind tribe told the media that the reason behind removing Bhootani was his principled stance and respect for the judicial decisions and supremacy of law.
Rind said he favoured the appointment of Tariq Magsi as opposition leader in the Balochistan Assembly by the speaker. “The appointment of Magsi is according to the law. And we hope he would expose the rampant illegalities of the corrupt government before the people,” he said as he assured the newly-appointed opposition leader of his full support.
Criticising the Balochistan government, Rind said its tenure was about to end, but incidents of targeted killing, bomb blasts and kidnapping for ransom were increasing alarmingly. He alleged that the government had miserably failed to provide security to the people which, according to him, was evident from the fact that even journalists and doctors were being murdered. Rind also accused the government of implicating him in bogus cases in order to keep him away from his voters.
