High demand for the Kimoji app caused the Apple app store to experience problems. She’s tried to break the internet before and this time Kim Kardashian has succeeded in nearly shutting down Apple’s App Store. Kardashian released her ‘KIMOJI’ app and users were so keen to express themselves Kardashian style that Apple’s app store ran into some serious problems. The Kimoji app became available on the Apple store on Monday, for the price of $1.99. To celebrate its release, Kim shared screenshots of conversations between herself and her sisters using their new Kimoji packs. But the reality star soon realised that not everybody was having such and easy time with the app , as some users complained it wasn’t working for them. ‘Apple, I’m so sorry I broke your App Store!,’ Kim later tweeted, after learning that high demand for the app was causing users to experience glitches. But it wasn’t just Kardashian fans who were affected, as the entire app store experienced problems thanks to its new addition.
‘I can’t believe so many people downloaded my KIMOJI app that it affected the entire app store!,’ Kim added on twitter. ‘We worked so hard on this app & we know there are some issues due to the massive downloads that the whole tech team is so working on!’
But some users have expressed concerns that the app may be getting too much access to users’ data. According to MailOnline, ‘the program can collect anything a user types or has typed in the past including credit card details’, which is leading to fears that users’ confidential information is at risk. Before users download the app they are warned; ‘Full access allows the developer of this keyboard to transmit anything you type, including things you have previously typed with this keyboard.

This could include sensitive information like your credit card number or street address.’
