Police top monthly complaints list

BAHAWALPUR - Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Nausheen Malik reviewed the performance of Citizen Feedback Monitoring Programme at her office here on Friday.

Citizen Feedback Monitoring Programme Incharge Safdar Munir Malik briefed the participants of the meeting regarding the last month's progress report.

in November 2017, police department's data integrity remained 99% and 14% complaints were received; Rescue 1122's data integrity remained 93 percent while 3pc complaints were received while Health Department's data integrity remained 90% and 9% complaints were received. Similarly property registration data integrity remained 100% and 2% complaints were received.

Land Record Management System's 11% complaints were received while data integrity remained 74%; and Domicile Service's data integrity remained 98% while 3% complaints were received.

The additional deputy commissioner issued directions to the land record management system to resolve the complaints of the public immediately, and issued the orders to present a report within three days.

She issued directive regarding the programme that on directions of CM Punjab, the programme was started and special attention be paid to it. She said considering the convenience of citizens, correct numbers be provided on websites so that citizens would not have to face any difficulties for filing their complaints.

CHOLISTAN RALLY EVENTS DETAILED: Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) Managing Director Ahmar Malik said TDCP Cholistan Desert Rally played a vital role in the promotion of tourism in South Punjab.

He was presiding over a meeting at Punjab Tourism Complex. During the media briefing, Regional Manager Shahid Mehmood said that on 15th of February, technical check and numbers will be allotted to the race drivers.

A qualifying round of three kilometer would be held on 16th of February. He said this year, to encourage the new drivers and women short distance track has been chosen so that more participation can be ensured.

On 17th of February, Camel Formation Show and at night cultural night along with extravagant fireworks will be displayed. On 18th of February, Professional Class drivers will go on track of 260 kilometer for the second phase and at the evening prize distribution ceremony will be held at Derawar Fort.

In the meeting, General Manager Operations Asjad Ghanni, General Finance Manager Qamaruz Zaman, General Manager Tahir Niazi and Event Manager Sheikh Fayyaz Ahmad also participated.
