KARACHI - A teenage girl was killed due to doctors negligence here on Monday. As per details, a sixteen-year-old girl Rashida, daughter of Sajid and the resident of Sector 4, North Karachi area, admitted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre on Sunday night because of her stomach ache. The family of the victim alleged that doctors and staffers gave her unmatched blood which resulted in her death. Following the death, Rashidas family with several other relatives staged a protest against her killing and chanted slogans against the staffers and doctors. They then moved to the Saddar police station to lodge an FIR against the doctors where police received the application for registering the case and assured them that they would register the complaint and would arrest the people if found them guilty. Rashida was among fourth of her ten siblings. On the other hand, Sindh Health Minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed took notice over the death of girl and constituted a three-member committee to probe the incident.
