QUETTA - At least five security personnel were wounded in a remote-controlled blast in Gwadar while militants struck a Frontier Corps checkpoint with a hand grenade in Khuzdar and a rocket, targeting security officials in Nushki, fired from an undisclosed location on Tuesday. According to sources, an FC patrol was on its routine patrolling when a remote-controlled bomb planted by miscreants at a motorcycle parked on roadside exploded that badly damaged FC van and shattered the windowpanes of nearby buildings. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack till the filing of this report. Separately, unknown motorcyclists attacked an FC checkpoint with a hand grenade on the RCD Highway near FC mess in Khuzdar. No loss of life reported as yet. The FC personnel retaliated for the attack, forcing the attackers to flee. In another incident, militants fired a rocket targeting Nushki District Police Officers office from an undisclosed location landed a nearby ground.
