ISLAMABAD - Ghulam Murtaza grabbed seven wickets for 34 runs as Junoon Club thrashed CRA Club by eight wickets in the NBP-ICA Cricket League - 2012 match played here at Bhutto Cricket Ground on Wednesday.

After putting into the bat, CRA were bundled out for a paltry 114 runs in 29.2 overs. Atif (36) and M Zubair (26) were main contributors for CRA as Murtaza was ripped through their batting line to claim seven wickets for 34 runs. Junoon achieved the required target with in only 15.5 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Rizwan Anwer (52) and Abdul Rehman (34) batted well.

In another match of the day at Diamond Club ground, Diamond Club thrashed All Youngsters by 159 runs. Batting first, Diamond posted a mammoth total of 351-4 in 50 overs thanks to a superb ton by Kamran Hussain (109) and some lusty hitting by M Nadeem (97) and Ali Sarfraz (55).

Chasing a huge total Youngsetrs were bundled out for 192 runs in 47.2 overs. Shoaib Abbasi (67), M Adnan (37) and Wakeel Butt (28) played well for Youngsters. For Diamond, Irfan Tirmazi (3-28) and Shahzad Azam (2-30) shone with the ball.
