LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Nawaz Sharif has set conditions for attending the All Parties Conference (APC), convened by Prime Minister Yousuf Raz Gilani to address the Balochistan issue.

The proposed gathering is aimed at getting input from various political parties on the situation prevailing in Balochistan, about which the US lawmaker recently introduced a resolution in the House of Representatives to foment the separatist sentiments in the Baloch people.

Nawaz has asked the government to apprehend the killers of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti and produce the missing persons, if it desires PML-N’s participation in the conference.

The PML-N says every Baloch shares the demand of fulfilling the stated conditions, which would go a long way to appease them.

Meanwhile, Nawaz left for Saudi Arabia on Wednesday to perform Umra. Sources say Nawaz will not hold any political meeting during his stay in the kingdom.
