Talking to The Nation, Maulana Akbar Saeed Farooqi said that terrorism in country relates the conspiracy to destabilise Pakistan.

He condemned the Quetta bomb blast, and extends sympathies with the families of the victims.  “We demand government to arrest the culprits involved in the Quetta blast but after the Quetta tragedy, law-enforcement agencies started crackdown of Ahle-e-Sunnat Ulema and Ahle-e-Sunnat workers form Quetta and different parts of Punjab.

It is clear that Quetta bomb blast links with their tribal matter of Hazara Community but an operation is being launched against us with the initial steps of arresting of our workers by the LEAs, he added.

Our dozens of workers have been killed in last two months. Religious clerics, seminary students and our workers have been targeted openly while the government has failed to arrest the culprits involved.

The government had yet not contacted us and if the government and the LEAs continue adopting this behavior against us then we will extend our protest nationwide.
