University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) Vice Chancellor Dr Iqrar Ahmad has been assigned additional charge of Vice Chancellor Office of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA), Multan.

According to notification issued by the Punjab Government, the Governor/ Chancellor of MNSUA has been pleased to allow Dr Iqrar Ahmad to perform the duties of the office of Vice Chancellor, MNSUA, Multan till the selection of new Vice Chancellor.

In his ongoing tenure of Dr Iqrar, the UAF has become the first-ever university of the country ranked among top 100 universities of the world.

The Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST) has also ranked the UAF as top university of the country in the degree awarding institutions for the year 2013 with highest score of 779.17 among all universities of the country. It is also a winner of 2012 Science and Technology Prize 2012 announced by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) among the 57 Islamic countries.
