KARACHI - Former President General (r) Pervez Musharraf terming all cases against him as fabricated, said that he is not scared of any of these fake cases.

He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony hosted by Chitral Student Association at a local hotel in Karachi. All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) General Sectary Dr Amjad and other were also present on the occasion.

Musharraf stating concern over current situation of the country said that how can a commoner get justice where he was being ridiculed.

He said that he was subjected to personal vendetta for no reason adding that all cases filed against him were based on political grounds, “I will fight them all”, he said.

On the occasion Musharraf admitted that he was not completely honest and said that neither the people sitting in assemblies were completely true and honest.

He said that constitution is a paper that is written by us and it can be changed for the betterment of the country.

He added that the future of Pakistan is not status-quo, therefore, the parties aiming for change should move forward together.

Strongly criticising the current government he said that current rulers are not ruling for the first time saying that leaders who cannot provide relief and prosperity should resign. “I want to free Pakistan from looters and plunderers”, he added  

“I founded APML only to pull the country out from the jaws of looters, who don’t want change”, said former army chief. He said that he was attached to Chitral and their native people saying that he is proud of loyalty from Chitrali people. He said that he would prefer to contest election from Chitral, Karachi and Islamabad.

Denouncing militancy in the name of Islam Musharraf said that terrorists were slaughtering innocent people because of their distorted version of religion.
