Mily ops must to root out terror: ANP

PESHAWAR - General Secretary Awami National Party, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, has said that the entire nation is united against terrorism and this is the right time to take effective steps for eliminating the menace of terrorism.
He was addressing a book-launching ceremony written by Mujahid Barailvi ‘Jalib Jalib’. ANP MPA Syed Jafar Shah, Mujahid Barailvi, Qasim Azam Chisti and others were also present on the occasion.
Iftikhar said that terrorists should not be given an opportunity to escape and the operations like Khyber One and Zarb-e-Azab were much needed to wipe out militancy from the country.
He said that terrorists have organized in every part of the country and like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA they have also strong network in Punjab which needs military operation to dismantle. He said that Punjab and other provinces were also equally affected and they condemned it wherever attack was carried out there. He said that terrorists could not divide the nation by carrying out their activities in parts of the country, adding that they had condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Punjab.
He maintained that after the army public school attack, Pakistan shared the evidences with the Afghan government and both the countries had unanimously agreed not to allow their soil to be used against each other.
