WAZIRABAD
About 20 government officials, as electioneering experts, have arrived in NA-101 from Lahore and started making contacts with the people especially local bodies office-bearers so as to get their support for the ruling party in the upcoming by-election.
Moreover, PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif is also expected to stay for one week in the constituency for the campaign of party candidate Iftikhar Ahmad Cheema.
The PML-N team comprises almost 20 coordinators of Punjab chief minister whereas some officials of CM Complaint Cell also present in the constituency and staying with coordinators in Khanki Head Rest House near village Katthor Kalan, the resident of the candidate. They will look after the matters of election and address the rallies and submit their reports to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore. They are considered as expert in influencing people. They have chalked out a programme to hold rallies. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif is expected in constituency 101 to expedite the campaign and address the rallies on different places for seven days, party sources said.
On the other hand, PTI leaders including Jahangir Tareen, Ch Sarwar and Shah Mehmood Qureshi and PPP’s leader Qamar Zaman kaira will also come to assist their respective candidates Muhammad Ahmad Chattha (PTI) and Ijaz Ahmad Cheema Advocate (PPP), and address rallies. PML-J leader Hamid Nasir Chattha himself has now focused on urban areas especially in Wazirabad after completing his primary round of campaign in rural areas. In Wazirabad, Raja Usmanullah Khan and Raja Ijazullah Khan of Musamman Burj Family and Ch Yousuf are assisting Hamid Nasir Chattha in City Wazirabad, Khalid Mughal and Yaseen Zargar in Allahabad and Hafiz Imran, Bawar Bashir and Salman Habib in Nizamabad.
Similarly, Fayyaz Chattha, former city district nazim of Gujranwala, and brother of candidate Ahmad Chattha, held the responsibility of campaign in rural areas. Other PTI leaders MPA Nasir Cheema, Rana Bilal Ijaz and Mehdi Bhatti are holding election campaign for their candidate Ahmad Chattha in the areas attached with their constituency and Hafizabad district.
Moreover, also Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit Wazirabad Institute of Cardiology in the first week of March. His tour to Wazirabad will be part of election campaign of his candidate Iftikhar Ahmad Cheema, sources said.
Likewise, PTI chief Imran Khan will conduct two visits to NA-101 in the mid of March and will address the rallies in Alipur Chattha and Wazirabad. He will motivate his workers to hold the election campaign wholeheartedly for PTI’s candidate Ahmad Chattha. He will be accompanied by Sh Rasheed, Jahangir Tareen, Ch Sarwar and Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
