Islamabad - In a bid to promote Pakistani films, Jacaranda Family Club Cineplex, Defence Housing Authority, has launched a premiere of a movie Bachana. At the launch of a movie, a mix of comedy and drama, the lead cast of the film Sanam Saeed and Mohib Mirza have joined the officers, families residing in DHA, art lovers and organisers. Huge backdrop and posters were decorated within the cinema, underneath which fans took selfies with the actors Sanam Saeed and Mohib Mirza.

The lead actor in the movie Mirza said the film was an effort to bring Pakistani people back to the cinema. He said the actors and director have made the great film and people would praise the finished product. He said the film was a drama and a comedy, adding that coupled with quality music the film would turn out to be a crowd puller. He was quiet hopeful of success of the film. He said that it will be a new experience for the Pakistani viewers.

Sanam Saeed, one of the lead actors, said she plays the role of an Indian woman who faces problems abroad and is helped by a Pakistani man. She said that she plays a simple girl who is in love with a Pakistani man. She is quite satisfied with her work and looks forward to a blockbuster in the Pakistani cinema.

The organisers of the event said that they wanted to provide quality entertainment to the residents of DHA and of course a main purpose behind organising such an event is to revive the Pakistani cinema.

They said that there is no dearth of talent in Pakistan and in the recent past a series of quality films have been produced here and hoped that this trend would continue in future as well for the better and bright future for the Pakistani cinema.

Filmed in Mauritius, Bachana is expected to attract huge crowds in cinema too. The film is being released in Pakistani cinemas on February 26.
