Quake jolts bordering areas of Balochistan, Sindh

An earthquake of mild intensity jolted parts of Balochistan and Sindh on Friday due to which various dilapidated houses were damaged but no loss of life was reported.

According to geological wing of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), tremours measuring 3.0 on Richter scale were felt in areas bordering Balochistan and Sindh provinces.

There were reports of damages to mudstone made houses in the said areas but no human loss was reported from anywhere. 

The epicentre of the quake was stated to be Usta Muhammad area of Balochistan, 16 kilometer deep inside earth crust.
