Okara - Scout Day, Clean and Green Campaign and Spring Festival celebrations in the district started under the supervision of Captain (Retd) Muhammad Ali Ijaz.
For the success of the campaign, recitation and Naat recitation competition was organized at Al-Hamra Arts Council Okara in collaboration with the Endowment Department and Education.
Famous Naat reciters, reciters and students of Okara district participated in the recitation and Naat recitation program. The special guest of the function, Assistant Commissioner Malik Rashid Nemat Khokhar, while addressing the function, said that everyone should take steps to achieve the goals set by the government to make the country green and clean so that the effects of climate change
He said that not only entertainment opportunities are being provided to the people through Jashan Baharan and Clean & Green Campaign in the district under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Capt. (Retd.) Muhammad Ali Ijaz but also the whole program is purposeful and futuristic. He said that steps have to be taken to secure the future of our children and give them a clean and green Pakistan.
District Education Officer Muhammad Tariq, Deputy District Officer Asif Javed, District Manager Awqaf Basat Chirag, Deputy Director Information Khurshid Jilani also addressed the gathering. On this occasion, prayers were offered for the development and prosperity of Pakistan and for the success of Clean and Green Pakistan campaign.
