LAHORE - The Pak Rangers (Punjab) on Tuesday handed over three Pakistani, released from the Indian jails the other day, to the Edhi Foundation.
The Pak prisoners identified as Ishrat Bagum, 55, Wajid Ali, 15, and Mohammad Mushtaq, 25, had been languishing in the Indian jails over minor violations.
The Indian government released the Pakistani prisoners while the Indian Border Security Force handed over these prisoners to the Pak Rangers at the Wahga border on Tuesday.
According to Edhi spokesperson, the prisoners released from different jails in India, are sent to the Edhi Homes in the Township and Gulberg areas, where they would be given food and accommodation.
