KARACHI - Pakistan Coast Guards officials seized huge quantity of hashish between Playri and Nigore area near Gawadar, Balochistan.According to the statement, the PCG officials received information from intelligence resources about the smuggling of narcotics in general area Playri and Nigore near Gwadar airport. Special mobile team was detailed for snap checking. During checking, the PCG mobile team spotted a suspicious vehicle. On seeing the PCG official, smugglers opened fire which was retaliated by the PCG officials. After an exchange of fire, the traffickers managed to flee away by taking advantage of darkness and terrain leaving behind the vehicle.During search, 500 kilograms of hashish was recovered by the PCG official from the hidden cavities of the vehicle. Its approximate cost in the market is Rs10512500. Further investigation was under process by the PCG Special Investigation Team.
