LAHORE – The only way to redress all the grievances, mankind has been facing, is to follow footsteps of the Holy Prophet (PBUH),

These views were expressed at Seeratun Nabi (PBUH) Conference held at Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehrik-i-Pakistan on Tuesday.

The conference established that Muhammad (PBUH) by making an Islamic state on the basis of economic and social justice resolved all the problems and grievances of mankind. The conference was attended by Sahibzada Sultan Ahmed Ali, Maulana Ahmed Ali Kasuri, Walid Iqbal Advocate, NPT Vice Chairman Prof Dr Rafique Ahmed and other speakers.

Pakistan Movement Workers’ Trust Chairman Colonel (r) Jamshed Ahmed Tareen, Shahid Rasheed, Rafaqat Riaz, Pakistan Movement workers, scholars, teachers, students and a good number of people from different walks of life also attended it. Pir Syed Ghulam Moeenul Haq Gilani presided over the sitting while Sahibzada Sultan Ahmed Ali was the chief guest on the occasion.

Sahibzada Sultan Ahmed Ali said that Islam was the best religion and the Prophet (PBUH) had preached religious teachings for the betterment of whole mankind. He said life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the perfect example for all human beings to act upon. He urged the Muslims to promote a sense of brotherhood among the Ummah. He also quoted many episodes from the Islamic History that reflected solutions of the problems as per the religious teachings.

Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad said that the masses should elect those rulers who had all the characteristics of a good Muslim and fulfil the conditions of Article 62 and 63. Quaid-i-Azam, he said, had a great inclination towards Islamic teachings. “The new generation should study the Islamic teachings,” he added.  Waleed Iqbal also stressed the masses to elect those people who were honest and able to rule on the country.

Allama Ahmad Ali Kasuri said that success could be achieved in this world and the world after by following the Prophet (PBUH). He said that the Muslim Ummah had true love for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Prof Dr Ajmal Niazi said that love of Prophet (PBUH) brings light in the life. He urged the Muslim to be united against the conspiracies knit by enemies and to shun sectarian conflicts.

The Allama Nazakat Golravi, Allama Abdul Hameed and other speakers said that the nation would have to seek guidance from the life of the Prophet (PBUH) for realising the dream of making Pakistan an Islamic and modern welfare state. They said that the believers of one God, the last Prophet (PBUH) and one Book would have to work for the betterment of the Muslim Ummah by remaining alert from enemies’ conspiracies. They also prayed for the development of the country.

Meanwhile, the second phase of Seeratu Nabi Conference in connection with Eid Miladun Nabi (SAW) will be held on today (Wednesday) at Aiwan-e-Karkunan-i-Tehrik-i-Pakistan. NPT and Pakistan Movement Workers Trust have jointly organised the conference.

Sajjada Nasheen Chura Sharif Pir Syed Muammad Kabir Ali Shah Gilani will be chief guest on the occasion. Speakers include Prof Dr Parveen Khan, Prof Dr Samar Fatima, Begum Mehnaz Rafi, Begum Amna Ulfat, Prof Dr Khalida, Prof Bushra Mujahid and Prof Dr Rashida Quraishi.
