ISLAMABAD - Islamabad had reached 45 without loss in 17 overs in their second innings against Quetta, requiring another 219 runs for victory with all 10 wickets in hand in there Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2012-13 fifth round match of Group-I on Tuesday.

Earlier, Islamabad resumed their first innings at the overnight total of 75-3 and were all out on 134 in 47 overs. Gohar Faiz clinched 8-50. Quetta were also bowled out for 122 in their second innings to give Islamabad 264 runs target. Taimoor Ali made 40 runs. Nasarullah grabbed 5-27. 

In Group-II match at Mirpur Cricket Stadium AJK, Rawalpindi scored 24-run victory over Lahore Shalimar. Requiring 240 for victory, Lahore were 106 runs for victory when they resumed their innings on 134-3 but were all out for 215 in 69.2 overs. Umar Akmal made 52. Hammad Azam, Saad Altaf and Haseeb Azam got three wickets each.
