KARACHI - As many as 11 members of Sindh Assembly have moved Sind High Court against non-appointment of opposition leader in the provincial assembly. The members through a petition filed in the Sindh High Court took plea that opposition had nominated Nusrat Sehar Abbasi, as opposition leader in the assembly and a written application was given to Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Ahmed Khuhro in this regard but he was not issuing notification in respect of appointment of Nusrat Sehar Abbasi of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional. Neither any caretaker government can be installed nor general elections take place without the ascertainment of opposition leader, they pleaded. They prayed the court to order the government to issue notification of opposition leader in Sindh Assembly.
