SIALKOT- District Food Controller (DFC) Umair Sagheer has suspended official quota of wheat to two flour mills for allegedly selling flour on inflated rates and creating artificial shortage of the commodity in the district.

Talking to the newsmen on Tuesday, he said that the official quota of wheat had been suspended to two flour mills namely Al-Barkat Flour Mills on Saidpur-Sialkot Road and Chawinda Flour Mills in Daska city.

 He said that a probe had also been initiated against these flour mills in this regard. Meanwhile, Sambrial Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Anwar Baryar has also fined Rs8,000 to an accused shopkeeper Zulfiqar.

 for selling flour on inflated rate in the city.
