JEDDAH - Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on Wednesday signed Haj agreement 2014 here at Haj Ministry, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yusuf and Saudi Haj Minister Dr Bandr Alhajjar signed the agreement. Secretary Religious Affairs Sikandar Ismail, Consul General Aftab A Khokhar, Joint Secretary Religious Affairs Ministry Shehzad Ahmed, DG Haj Syed Abu Aakif and other senior officers of Saudi Haj Ministry were present.

Earlier, Sardar Muhammad Yusuf, who is heading the Pakistani Haj delegation, held a meeting with Saudi Minister for Haj Dr Bandarbin Mohammad Al-Hajjar.

The minister expressed gratitude to the immense services of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and the Crown Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Haj Ministry Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the numerous steps being taken for the constant improvements and upgrading the Umra and Haj experiences of pilgrims from all over the world.

He also congratulated the Saudi Haj Minister for successful Haj operations last year and hoped that both the countries would perform better this year.
