ISLAMABAD  - Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl(JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that terrorists engaged in killing innocent people across the country are harming the interests of the country and have nothing to do with Islam.

He expressed these views after offering Dua’a for the martyrs of Bacha Khan University Charsadda here at Parliament’s House mosque. Quran Khawani and special prayers were offered for those who were martyred in the terrorists attack at the university.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman led the collective prayers for them and said that the whole nation is united against the terrorists and would not rest till their elimination from the motherland.

He said that these elements were just out to taint the true face of Islam and were out to harm the country’s interests.

He stressed the need of more cohesion and national unity to fight out this menace from society.

He prayed for the early recovery of those injured in the terrorist ambush at the university campus while expressed his deepest condolence with all those who had lost their dear ones in the terrorists attack.

Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani, Deputy Chairman Maulana Abdul Gahfoor Haideri, Federal Minister Lt. Gen. (Rretd) Abdul Qadir Baloch, State Minister Abid Sher Ali and a good number of Parliamentarians were also present on the occasion.
