Kasur police has claimed to arrest the main suspect of Zainab murder case, reported Waqt News. 

The police stated that DNA of suspect Imran has matched with sample found on Zainab's body in the test.  

The suspect was earlier arrested and his DNA test was conducted but was released after that, police said. The officials also claimed that suspect has already pleaded guilty. 

He fled to Pakpattan after the release, the police sources said. 

The reports further stated that Imran resides near house of seven-year-old Zainab in Court Road, Kasur.  

Numerous suspects were arrested in the case and there DNA was taken from them, the police said. 

Seven-year-old Zainab went missing on January 4th from her aunt's home and her dead body was found from garbage pile on January 9th.

The post-mortem report revealed that she was sexually assaulted and murdered.
