LARKANA - Larkana Industrial Estate (LIE) is spread on 194 acres where 114 industrial as well as commercial units will be established out of which 94 will be industrial and 20 commercial. It will provide employment opportunities to the young people of Larkana and nearby areas which will also alleviate poverty. The total cost of the project is Rs1366.420 million, said Sindh Industries Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo while talking to media on Friday. He said the industrial estate would fulfill a second commitment made with the people of Larkana. He said the project was the vision of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari under the guidance of Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah. Dharejo said industries related to the agriculture sector would be established in LIE for which all required facilities would be extended to the investors for which necessary infrastructure was already available. He further claimed that such more industrial estates would be established across the Sindh province in the future.
