ISLAMABAD - Inspector General of Police (IGP) Muhammad Ahsan Younas Pakistan paid a visit to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) on Saturday to enquire about the health of the cops injured in a terror attack on police patrolling team in Karachi Company Police Station jurisdiction.
He was accompanied by other senior police officials. Directing the medics for providing best possible treatment facilities to the injured cops, the IGP said that taking care of the “Ghazis” and looking after the families of martyrs and the “Ghazis” of our police force who stood firm against the terrorists without caring for their own lives is our prime responsibility.
The IGP hoped that the injured police officials, soon after recovering, will serve the nation again.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas paid a visit to police stations Industrial Area, Ramna, Shalimar and Margalla, informed a police spokesman on Saturday.
Checking the daily entry register of the police stations, the IGP said that the police stations are the first place which the public approach immediately after becoming a victim of crime, so the police should focus on solving public complaints promptly in a citizen-friendly manner.
He further advised the police officers to be polite with complainants because this gesture on their part could soothe their pain to the maximum level.
Adopting an effective strategy to control crime, he also directed the SHOs to accelerate efforts to arrest criminals including proclaimed offenders and court absconders.
