ISLAMABAD - The Ministry of Youth Affairs will take 100 youngsters on a week-long visit of China on July 27 as a part of youth exchange programme, TheNation learnt here on Tuesday. "In the first week of July, the Ministry of Youth Affairs had invited youngsters from four provinces, including Kashmir and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). The 100-member of youth delegation would leave for China on July 27," source said while talking to TheNation. He further maintained that Joint Secretary of Youth Affairs Talib Hussain Sial would lead the delegation of youth and media persons. He further informed that during the visit the delegation will meet the Chinese youth, will visit different cities of China and will also visit important and historical places, including educational institutions and parliament of China. Several attempts were made to contact Joint Secretary of Youth Affairs Talib Hussain Sial but he was not contacted. It is pertinent to mention here that Chinese President Hu Jintao invited 500 young people from Pakistan to visit China in five years when he paid a state visit to Pakistan in 2006. All China Youth Federation (ACYF) invited the first batch of 105 delegates from Pakistan to visit China last year. In 2007 100 youth left for a 10-day visit to China as a part of youth exchange Programme.
