The independent survey carried out by the Republican Party of USA says the popularity graph of Nawaz Sharif is at the highest, 82 percent as compared to 45 percent for Asif Zardari. This speaks volumes about the public perception of the principled stand of Nawaz Sharif versus the vacillating postures of Mr Zardari. Similarly 83% people want ouster of President Pervez Musharraf. All concerned must read the writing on the wall and respond to the voice of the people. Mr. Zardari is backtracking from his promise of restoring the deposed judges in 30 days as per the Murree Declaration. That leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
