Peaches at centre of drugs scare

THE 19-year-old daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates - who herself died of a drug overdose in 2000 - was apparently given artificial respiration by a friend as they waited for the paramedics to arrive. London Ambulance Service said: "We were called...to an address in N1 to reports of a female patient taken ill....Following assessment, the patient did not require hospital treatment." Despite the reports, Peaches was well enough to be seen at Monday's premiere of the latest Batman film, "The Dark Knight". Peaches was in trouble earlier in the summer when she was allegedly caught on video handing money over to a drug dealer. She was questioned by police under caution but released without charge. According to inside sources, Peaches was terrified of her father finding out about the latest incident - he has reportedly told her she may have to return to the family home unless she starts calming down. The second of Bob's three daughters with Paula, Peaches has made a name for herself as a popular member of London's celebrity social scene. Her day job involves writing and TV presenting.      - Sky News
