In a village near Mian Channu, a madressa that housed tons of explosives, rockets and suicide-belts blew up destroying more than half the village. Heart-breaking as it is, a few questions arise after seeing the reports and interviews of the villagers. Almost everyone interviewed said that this Maulvi had been collecting this material over a long time and they were aware. If that be so, why did not anyone from the village do something about it? Knowing what destruction these anti-state elements (read Indian RAW agents) have wrought in the country, no one should have waited to report the matter to police who would have jumped at the chance of nabbing a terrorism suspect.
