Seven injured in Dera Bugti blast

QUETTA - At least seven people, including commander of peace force were wounded in a remote controlled bomb attack in restive district Dera Bugti on Friday. Official sources said the explosives were planted in a motorbike which was parked in Bugti Colony of Sui area which exploded with a big bang when a vehicle of peace force was passing from the area. As a result, seven people including commander of peace force identified as Bahi Khan Bugti received injuries. The injured were moved to nearby hospital for treatment where they were identified as Niaz Bugti, Nadeem Bugti, Muhammad Hussain, Ali Nawaz, Kohi Bugti and Jamal Bugti. Sources said that the explosives were detonated through a remote controlled device and the vehicle of the peace force was the main target. Police and personnel of FC rushed to the site and cordoned off the area. The blast badly damaged the motorbike and spread panic amongst the people of the area. No group has claimed responsibility for the blast till filing of this report. However, police said Baloch militants might be behind this attack.
