Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Chairman Javed Hashmi and Central Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi have said that come what may more than one million people will reach Islamabad on Aug 14 to participate in the Azadi March of the party.

They urged the party workers to work hard at tehsil and town level to create awareness among people so that they could join the PTI’s independence march towards Islamabad on August 14.

Both the PTI stalwarts were addressing an Iftar dinner hosted by PTI leader and former district nazim Chaudhry Muhammad Ashfaq and later a press conference here the other night. Both the veteran politicians regretted that Rs500 billion of public money was spent by the government in the name of ending electricity loadshedding but, instead, the PML-N rulers aggravated the power outages.

They claimed that PTI government was genuinely providing relief to people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They said that it was pity that Pakistan foreign ministry and OIC were silent over Israeli atrocities on innocent Palestinians people. They said that the PTI had very clear stance on the issue and it condemned the Israeli aggression. They pointed out that people had astonished that majority of them had voted for ‘bat’ in 2013 general election but through worst rigging the PML-N stole their mandate. They pledged that the PTI Azadi March would be held at any cost on August 14.

They also advised the rulers not to create any hurdle in the march otherwise it would be responsible for the consequences.
