LAHORE  - Two people including a 70-year-old man were found dead from different parts of the provincial metropolis on Wednesday, police said. Both the unidentified bodies were moved to the morgue for autopsy.

A 70-year-old man was lying dead near Fruit Market in Liaqatabad police precincts as the police investigators rushed to the spot. Some passersby spotted the body and contacted the police by phone on early Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a 50-year-old man was recovered dead in the limits of Bhati Gate police. Rescue workers said the man was lying dead under mysterious circumstances under the Metro-bus Bridge. The Edhi ambulance service shifted the body to the morgue. Police investigators say they believe the man, unidentified so far, was a drug addict.

Further investigations are underway.
