KARACHI - There remains a considerable gap in Pakistan Russia perceptions regarding each other’s business potential and the Pakistan Russia Business Forum is working to bring the two countries closer.
This was said by Consul General of the Russian Federation in Karachi Oleg N. Avdeev, at a dinner hosted by the PRBF to celebrate the Day of Russia.
He said “I very much appreciate the fact that the Pakistan-Russia Business Forum has organised this function to celebrate our national holiday - the Day of Russia at which prominent businessmen of Karachi and many office bearers of FPCCI, KCCI and KATI are present in a large numbers”. He added this event is not only observing Russia’s National Day but also celebrating the decades-old Russia-Pakistan relations which are increasingly gaining importance in the present-day world. He concluded by saying the current status of the Russia-Pakistan relations reflects encouraging trends for the improvement of the entire gamut of our relationship. The recent increase in the frequency of bilateral contacts has given a strong boost to cooperation between the two countries.
