Islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested three persons for their alleged involvement, along with their female accomplices, in looting the citizens after giving them lift in their vehicles.

Police also recovered gold ornaments and other valuables from their possession, a police spokesman said yesterday. He said that SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani took notice of few complaints of depriving citizens of their valuables after giving them lift in vehicles. He constituted special team headed by SHO Inspector Sajjad Bukhrari and others. This team succeeded to arrest three persons identified as Aftab, Ghulam Murtaza and Islam.

 who confessed, during preliminary investigation, of their involvement in such incidents. Police are also searching for their female accomplices who used to assist them in looting. Police recovered cash, gold ornaments and weapons from their possession. Further investigation is under way and police are hopeful of more recovery from them.
