Punjab approves three road development schemes worth Rs 1.474 billion in Rawalpindi Division

LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved three development schemes of Road Sector with an estimated cost of Rs. 1474.784 million.

These schemes were approved in the 42nd meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2015-16 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.

According to Spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included: Rehabilitation of road from Lower Topa (Danna) to Gulehra Gali to Patriata Top length=17 kms / i/c Rain / Flood Damages, Rawalpindi at the cost of Rs. 327.298 million, Construction of Mandra Chakwal Road to Rawat Chakbeli Road via Pind Bala Paimal, length=9.22 km, Rawalpindi. (KPRRP Phase-II) at the cost of Rs. 467.735 million and Widening / Improvement of road from Kallar Kahar to Choa Saiden Shah length=30.50 km, District Chakwal at the cost of Rs. 679.751 million.
