LAHORE - Shiza Hassan’s Luxe Prints Exhibition took place at her studio in Model Town the other day. Designers from across Pakistan graced the event.

This collection of Luxe Prints distinguishes itself from those lawn prints which make up the usual fare for many other designers. “Shiza Hassan has brought the typical mix of embellishments and gorgeous fabric prints to the arena. Such an aesthetic, usually the reserve of bridal designs, takes Shiza Hassan’s offering a notch above the rest,” said Amna Zain, sister-in-law of Shiza Hassan.

Shiza Hassan label was launched 2014. Since then it has never compromised on style, originality and detailing. Shiza Hassan’s love for contemporary and prints is second to none. On the occasion, Head Alumni Relations LUMS, Masooma Zeeshan, said, “Shiza’s unique selling point lies in her selection of soft pastel colours, her signature-style on spot embellishments. The collection offers a breath of fresh air in the myriad of similar Eid clothes exhibition.”

Shiza Hassan, herself, was also present on the occasion and gave an overview of the nine luxe prints which were on display.

The prints included Porcelain Dreams, Weave Magic, Jungle Yellow, Black Magic, Autumn Teal, Lotus, Minty Palace, Gold Victorian and Floral Mania. “We have introduced the line of luxe prints for the first time.

We have come up with the limited edition of nine prints. The response has been overwhelming and we’ll be taking orders on the unstitched pieces very soon,” she said.

Many household names in the fashion industry were present at the event, which included Amna Kardar, Saira Rizwan, Saira Faisal, Rima Farid, Hina Butt and Amber Liaqat. Saira from Saira Shakira and Saira Rizwan lauded the efforts undertaken by Shiza Hassan. “The work is absolutely amazing and there is a lot of variety over here. The clothes are flying off the rack. The aesthetics are very strong and the colour scheme is very pleasant as well. She’ll go a long, long way with this new venture,” both the designers said.

Shiza Hassan is the sister of famous Pakistani tennis star, Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi. Her collection can be shopped at her studio, 65-B Block, Model Town, Lahore.
