RAWALPINDI: The counsel for former prime minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has requested Appellate Tribunal (AT) to give him some time for the preparation on the matter of nomination papers of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

On Saturday, Appellate Tribunal held the hearing on nomination papers of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for NA-53.

Counsel for Abbasi appeared before Returning Officer (RO) Appellate Tribunal and appealed court to give him some time for preparation of case.

The court accepted the appeal plea and adjourned the hearing till June 25th.
