Five people killed in Sargodha

SARGODHA: Five members of a family were killed on last night in a village near Sargodha by unknown persons.

According to Police reports, unidentified men killed 50-year-old Muhammad Tafel, a sweet shop owner, and his family members leaving one wounded.

Among the deceased, there included Tafel's wife Majeeda Bibi as well as their three children, two sons and a daughter.

DSP Bhalwal Khalid Khan Niazi said, an investigation into the incident has began, while deceased and the wounded were moved to a hospital.

Caretaker Punjab chief minister Dr Hasan Askari took notice on it and summoned a report from Inspector General (IG) Punjab.

He also said justice would be ensured.
