Sialkot rejoices at Ahmad Raza's FIFA honour

SIALKOT-The people of Sialkot rejoiced the official appearance of Sialkot-based industrialist Ahmed Raza in the mega even of FIFA Football World Cup on the FIFA's invitation.
Pakistani teenager Ahmed Raza was much delighted by carrying coin toss in the FIFA World Cup match between Brazil and Costa Rica. This historical moment made him proud to uphold the prestige of Pakistan globally by conducting the toss for the football game in Russia.
The family of Ahmed Raza has been crafting hand-stitched footballs in Sialkot for professional leagues for Three generations. He along with his father Shabir Ahmed is major football enthusiast and the mega event fulfilled their dream.
FIFA has especially invited Ahmed Raza to attend the mega event. He made history by becoming the first ever Pakistani to be present on a World Cup field in an official capacity.
His family said that the 15-year-old Ahmed Raza and his father Shabir Ahmed are both football fanatics and Raza's involvement in the FIFA World Cup 2018 was a dream.
Raza, who is a passionate fan of Neymar Jr and the Brazilian football team, also had the opportunity to meet his favourites in person. Ahmed Raza also met filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid in Moscow. She is documenting Raza's journey to Moscow for a short film to be released in July this year. Coca Cola has collaborated with her to document Raza's journey from Sialkot to Moscow.
