NEW DELHI (Agencies) - India is worried over a spillover effect of Taliban from Pakistan and wants Pakistan to remain stable, said Indian Home Minister P Chidambaram on Sunday. In an interview with CNN-IBN on Sunday, Chidambaram said India is concerned over the growing influence of Taliban in Pakistan. Stating that India is in favour of a democratic political set-up in Pakistan, Chidambaram said that New Delhi is 'not happy with the turmoil in Pakistan'. "Taliban across our border has a tendency to spill over in different ways into India. A stable civilian democratic govt (in Pakistan) means that we know who we are dealing with and there are checks and balances," he said.
