LAHORE - The yesterday's trough of westerly wave which caused torrential rain in Lahore and parts of the country on Friday and Saturday still lies over northern parts of the country though it may not cause any rain during the next 24 hours. However, the sky will remain cloudy and scattered thunderstorm rain over NWFP, Kashmir and northern areas while isolated thunderstorm/rain is expected over north Punjab. Similar condition will prevail during the next two days. As a result of rain the temperature has slightly dropped. It was 27 maximum and 15 minimum degree Centigrade while Sialkot district was shivering at night with minimum lowest temperature of 8.00 and Kalam 3 C. The highest temperature at 35.1 C was recorded at Chhor.
