Need for following Quaids teachings stressed

LAHORE The speakers stressed upon the parliament, judiciary, administration and media to play their due role for the betterment of the country. They expressed these views while addressing the Aiwan-e-Waqt forum held under the auspices TheNation, Nawa-i-Waqt and Waqt TV at Minar-e-Pakistan on Tuesday. The speakers were of the view that Quaid-e-Azam wanted to make the country an Islamic, democratic and welfare state. The forum was addressed by Pakistan Movement worker Syed Ahmed Saeed Kirmani, Vice Chairman Nazaria Pakistan Trust Prof Dr Rafiq Ahmed, Vice President Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, Admiral Javed Iqbal and Naushad Hamid while Aslam Ghuman, Rana Mohammad Arshad, Dr Farzana Nazeer, Maulana Mohammad Shafi Josh and others were among the participants on the occasion. Syed Ahmed Saeed Kirmani said Quaid-e-Azam mobilised the Muslims of Sub-Continent for the establishment of a separate county in very short period of seven years. He stressed the need to act upon the teaching of Quaid-e-Azam to make the county a fort of Islam. Dr Rafiq Ahmed said it was responsibility of youth to serve the Pakistan with devotion. He said it was our fortune that we had best atomic technology and enemies could not dare to attack us. Admiral Javed Iqbal said the country was facing terrorism, inflation and unemployment just because of in-capabilities of the rulers. He said democracy could be strengthened by acting upon the teachings of Jinnah.
