Faysal Bank T20 draws criticised

ISLAMABAD - Faysal Bank T20 Super 8 is all set to start from 25th at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium with eight top teams vie for Top honours.
The most interesting thing which came to everyone’s mind is on what theory the draws were made and who put top four sides in same group and that too the two finalist teams of last year, Sialkot Satllions and Rawalpindi Rams are both in Group B.
Whenever the draws were made, the basic thing, which everyone keeps in minds is that top teams are always kept in separate pools, but PCB think tank ignored a very simple formula while making the pools.
Rawalpindi Rams is pitted against last year’s champion Sialkot Stallions, Karachi Dolphins and Lahore Eagles, the top four sides of the country in Pool B, while the Pool A consistmg Faisalabad Wolves, Peshawar Panthers, Karachi Zebras and Lahore Lions all four teams have equal chance in this particular group, the strange decision of PCB has surprised many.
All the charm for the locals would perish if Rawalpindi Rams fail to move in to the knock out round. The time is ripe for the PCB to keep a close eye on the elements who have there own vested interests and had nothing to do with rules and regulations.
