LAHORE – The Pakistan Movement Workers Trust’s Board of Trustees thanked Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif for giving residential plots to the homeless workers, in a meeting held at the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan on Thursday. The participants called upon the government to annul any efforts regarding expulsion of the matter about Nazaria-i-Pakistan, Islamic values and traditions and the status of heroes of Pakistan Movement and to take practical steps to counter Indian water terrorism.

The meeting was presided over by Col (R) Jamshed Ahmad Tareen. NPT Chairman Majid Nizami, Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad, Mian Farooq Altaf, Waleed Iqbal Advocate, Shahid Rashid and Rafaqat Riaz were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Majid Nizami said that they were grateful to CM Punjab on allocation plots to the destitute workers of the Pakistan Movement and called upon the government to provide financial support to these heroes, who had sacrificed everything for the cause.
