Shahbaz warns Centre against loadshedding

LAHORE – Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has flayed the worst loadshedding in the province and asked the Federal government not to test the patience of the people any longer. Through a statement on Thursday, the CM asked the federal government to immediately review the loadshedding schedule and take notice of the injustice being meted out to Punjab on the supply of electricity to this province. He said loadshedding schedule be evolved on equitable basis throughout the country.
March 23:  Shahbaz Sharif, in his message on the Pakistan Day, has said that March 23 is a day to make a firm resolve not to spare any effort for achieving the target of progress and prosperity and transforming the country into an Islamic welfare state. 
canal system:  Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday disclosed that the Punjab government was modernising the canal system through a set of reforms to achieve the goal of self-sufficiency in the agriculture sector. He also directed the authorities that a solid planning should be made for equitable supply of irrigation water.
