LAHORE – Not a so small model of B-777 plane has disappeared from a PIA office, sources said. The sources said the six-foot long and four-foot wide model, showcased at the PIA TOM (Ticket Office Manager) office, went missing a couple of days back.
However, the TOM says the model has been sent to be put on display in an exhibition “somewhere in the county”. The sources also raised concerns over the office security that had been outsourced. An official said on anonymity six LCDs were also stolen.
Another complained that the security system was not in operation. Had the security cameras functioned properly, thieves would have been traced, it was stated.
