LAHORE - The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) will start books distribution drive from March 24 for the academic year 2015-16.

According to the PEF spokesman, as many as six million textbooks will be distributed among 1.6 million students enrolled in 4,000 partner schools in 36 districts of the province.

The books distribution campaign will start from Pasrur (Sialkot) on March 24 and will be held in phases in other districts. As many as 20 books distribution points have been setup in different districts including Lahore. To streamline the books distribution among the partners, a committee has been setup with PEF Director Finance as its convener.

The PEF provides monthly fee as well as free textbooks to the students enrolled in the partner schools across the province.
